Nariyal Pak / Burfi

Fresh coconut /nariyal barfi is easy to prepare , full of nourishment and liked by all , prasadam .Also known as Toprapak.please do not use silver foil…Shree Thakurji does not like it. Let us prepare for this Janamashtami 🙂


  • 2 Cup cleaned and grated coconut
  • 500gms.sugar
  • ½ cup milk 
  • cardamom pwd
  • few pista chopped for garnishing.[optional]

Preparation Method

  • Mix grated coconut and milk.
  • Put it on fire. When the mixture becomes thick ,add sugar in it.
  • Let it thicken.As the mixture leaves the sides of the pan take it off from fire add cardamom pwd.
  • Spread the thickend mixture  on thali / plate and garnish with pista .
  • cut into desired shape and size.
  • offer with devotion , love and faith to shree Thakurji.
