Jai Shree Krushna,
Rava or Sooji or Semolina is easy on stomach to digest, this light and quick savory – is complete meal and snack as you want to offer your Lord. Dhokla is steamed snack , so perfect for low calorie dieters .
- 1 Cup Sooji
- 1 Cup Crushed Green Peas
- 1 Cup Curds
- 1 inch piece of Ginger
- 1/2 cup of chopped Coriander leaves
- 2 Green Chillies
- Salt to taste
- 1tsp of ENO FRUIT Salt
- Garnishing –
- 2 tsp of oil
- Mustard and Sesmee Seeds
- Curry leaves.
Mix all the Ingredients Sooji, Curds , Crushed Green Peas, Ginger, Green Chillies and mix well…to a smooth consistency.
Meanwhile heat water for steaming Dhokla – Grease a Steel Plate with oil and keep it ready.
Now add the fruit salt and Salt and mix vigrously for few seconds and pour it into the greased, hot plate waiting on the hot water …cover and steam for 5-7 minutes.
Open and check with knife if the batter is not sticking to the sides of the blade . Take out and allow to stand for 2 mins. Cut it into small cubes .
Heat the oil in a small vessel – add musterd and Seesam Seeds be cautiously as it splutters hard add Curry leaves and sprinkle the garnish on the cooked Dhoklas.
Takeout few pieces and serve in a small platter with Tulsi leaves and lots of love to little Lord Shri Krushna .
