Idli Upma

IDLI the universal snack , is healthiest and most nutritious for kids and old alike. Let us make this delicious dish for our Kanhaji .


  • 6 Idlis steamed and cooked.
  • 1/2 cup chopped Capsicum
  • 1tbs ghee
  • Mustard seed
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder.
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1tsp Urad Dal

Preparation Method

Cut Idlis into small pieces.

Heat ghee in a pan , add Urad dal, mustard seeds and curry leaves as seasoning.

As the mustard seeds splutter add termeric powder, idlis and chopped capsicum .

Saute for a minute to let the idlis heat uniformly .

Add salt and mix well.

Serve this bowl full of goodness to Shri Kanhaji with Tulsi garnishing as blessing.
